Michael is a multi-skilled senior taxation executive with extensive high level consulting and management experience, obtained in blue-chip professional and corporate firms. Analytical, articulate, dedicated to excellence, and a strong team player with a hands-on approach, Michael is a well known and respected adviser within the tax profession and the accounting and legal industries. He has been noted with “very high performance” and “knowledgeable technically, with good service levels and commercially aware advice" (Legal Profiles 2001-2002). Prior to joining BDO, Michael was with the international law firm, Baker McKenzie (Taxation Partner) and Rio Tinto Limited (General Manager, Taxation). His client portfolio, which covers a range of domestic and international organizations and includes manufacturing and banking clients who have operations in Australia and overseas.
