Russell Garvey is a Director of BDO Kendalls Corporate Tax (WA) Pty Ltd where he consults on State, Federal and International revenue law and business advisory matters to a wide range of industries. Russell is also a director of our Motor Industry Services team, providing value added accounting, tax and management consulting services to metropolitan and regional motor dealers. He has 25 years experience in taxation, audit and accounting which spans both the public and private sector. Prior to joining BDO Kendalls, Russell served 13 years with the Australian Taxation Office in Perth and its National Office in Canberra as a high profile Tax Counsel, Audit Case Manager and Executive Officer in the ATO Policy and Legislation Branch. Few practitioners in Australia boast such a combination of private sector and high level ATO and Treasury knowledge that Russell brings to his work to the benefit of our clients.
