Stephen Seear

Stephen has 19 years of corporate finance experience obtained at BDO and a global accounting firm.  He is the Partner in Charge of BDO Melbourne’s Corporate Advisory practice and also leads the Melbourne Corporate Finance team.

He specialises in valuations and expert witness matters.  He has acted as lead expert witness and provided testimony in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of New Zealand. He also specialises in infrastructure valuation and financial modelling advice, which is used for a range of purposes including financial reporting and unit pricing, acquisition and divestment, disputes, debt refinancing and other restructures.

In addition to the above, Stephen has undertaken numerous corporate finance assignments involving financial due diligence, capital raisings and financial modelling.

Stephen's clients cover a broad range of industries, including infrastructure, technology, financial services, retail, manufacturing and mining.
