Applications for recognition of export success are now open

Business and corporate advisory firm BDO (QLD) is pleased to announce that entries are now open for the 2009 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards. The Queensland Export Awards are an opportunity for Queensland exporters to share their export success and be recognised for their global achievement by their peers.

Managing Partner, Tony Schiffmann said that the firm is proud to be involved again in this year’s awards as sponsors of the Large Services category, the winner of which is awarded for outstanding export achievement in a recognised services industry sector with total annual sales of $15 million or more.

“As a business that helps organisations achieve their growth ambitions and strategic goals, BDO is proud to be playing a role in the recognition of the talent and innovative spirit of Queensland’s exporters,” he said.

BDO has been in Queensland since 1913 and we credit our longevity and strength in the marketplace to our focus on client needs and relationships. We are part of the BDO international network, the fifth largest global accounting network, ensuring we are able to provide exporters with the support you need to cross international borders and this ability has been strengthened through our relationship with Austrade.
