BDO SA appoints David Spurritt as the new Director of Corporate & International Tax

BDO are pleased to announce the appointment of David Spurritt as Tax Director of the growing team in SA. The former PKF partner will now provide further strength to BDO's established expertise in its Corporate & International Tax division.

David Spurritt says, "I am excited to be joining the fast growing team at BDO. Their specialisations, particularly in the property sector, are a perfect fit for my skills and experience. I look forward to working with the other directors and staff at BDO to drive the continued development of the tax consulting division and the firm as a whole."

David has extensive experience in providing specialist tax services, particularly to large, privately owned groups. Although he has supported a varied client base, he has particular strengths in property, hospitality and retirement villages, as well as in mining and mining industry suppliers.

David was previously a partner with Deloitte, before moving to PKF as both a partner and managing partner. His appointment with BDO is effective from 1 February 2012.
