Anthony is a Partner in our assurance services team. Anthony has more than 16 years experience in audit, financial accounting and due diligence in Australia and the USA, having worked in Sydney, New York and Los Angeles prior to settling in Brisbane.

Whilst specialising in assurance services, Anthony has worked with a variety of large and medium sized businesses and has recent industry experience with manufacturers, property developers and managers, miners, motor vehicle dealers and the not for profit sector.

Anthony is heavily involved in BDO training programs, presenting at a local and national level. For a number of years Anthony has been involved with the CA Program run by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Key assignments

• Mining and resources – Responsible for the audit of numerous listed mining and resource companies, ranging from large coal producers to junior explorers.
• Manufacturing – Clients include those involved with super yacht refits, food products, explosives, textiles and abattoirs.
• Not-for-profit – Lead partner on the audit of one of Queensland’s largest humanitarian groups as well as a number of sporting organisations and churches.
• Motor dealerships – Was recently involved in the audit of one of Queensland’s largest motor dealership groups and am currently responsible for the audit of a number of motor dealers around Queensland.
• Property managers and developers – Have extensive experience in performing external audits and due diligence on retail centres. Am currently responsible for the outgoings audit of numerous retail and commercial properties throughout Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.
