Dennis leads China Advisory Services of BDO in Australia. As a Chartered Accountant and solicitor, he provides both practical and commercial advice that is easily understood by clients in Australia and China. In addition to his primary specialisation in taxation, Dennis has also advised on the commercial aspects of transactions.

As a native speaker of Putonghua, Dennis is able to communicate technical advice in Chinese and English to ensure it is understood by all stakeholders.

• Advice and ruling application in relation to a restructure for a foreign corporation that resulted in tax savings of over $25 million.
• Regular advice to foreign investors on mergers and acquisitions activities.
• Advising foreign government in the Asian region on the design of taxation policies and regimes.
• Assisting foreign clients operating in the Asian markets with overall compliance obligations throughout the region.
• Delivery of over 100 hours of training to accountants, solicitors and other professionals over the last 12 months.
