Michael has been in public practice in Cairns since 1987 and has worked in the audit and business services areas since. Michael is a BDO accredited adviser in Family Business and consults to a wide range of family businesses.

Michael is highly active in the Cairns community. He is currently President of the Cairns Amateurs.

Key assignments

• Management rights due diligence – with nearly 20 years experience in the management rights industry in North Queensland, Michael is the leader in this service area
• Valuations - undertaking valuations of businesses for corporate reorganisations and litigation purposes. In the Family Law area Michael has been engaged as a single expert on a number of occasions
• Personal injury – economic loss calculations on behalf of both plaintiffs and insurers
• Litigation - investigations as a Court appointed expert as well as numerous assignments in commercial litigation actions.
