Alan is a Director in the BDO Kendalls Growth Services Consulting division. Alan has a strong background in human resource (HR) management as the former Director of HR at a major Queensland university, the Queensland Manager of international human resource firm Watson Wyatt Worldwide and the Managing Partner in his own HR consulting firm.

Alan consults to a range of small and medium-sized businesses on strategic planning and staffing issues. Alan's clients include several iconic, award winning high growth companies.

Alan has also developed unique tools, such as the on-line Business Diagnostics Instrument (www.bdokendalls.com.au/ebdi), HR Audit tool, Attraction & Retention Audit, HR Policies and Procedures Manual, Strategic Planning Workbook and Process Review and Redesign Workbook. These tools help clients to develop strategic and business plans, implement change, people and system processes and improve their levels of performance to achieve business objectives.
