Our client is a leading professional services firm located in Brisbane CBD. The firm is a sophisticated, efficient and modern organisation servicing a diverse range of companies, public and private organisations as well as a large number of individual clients.

There now exists an exciting opportunity for a hands on General Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the firm including the financial and administrative functions to provide high quality services to the professional staff of the practice. In addition, you will provide high-level strategic advice on financial and other complex matters to the Partners, thus reducing risk while facilitating the growth and profitability of the company.

Although this position may be the next step in your career, you will have experience in a role that encompasses operational and strategic management, including finance and human resource management.

You will also have:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant, practical discipline,
• Demonstrated business acumen,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Outstanding interpersonal skills,
• Demonstrated experience in the preparation of business plans, budgets and forecasts, and
• Be dedicated to contributing to the ongoing success of the firm.

A generous remuneration package, including consideration of an incentive-based package, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
