In the current business environment with such heavy focus on appropriate corporate governance practices, far greater pressure is being put on companies to ensure that proper due diligence in undertaken for all major business decisions. BDO Kendalls Corporate Finance has conducted financial due diligence reviews for a number of mergers and acquisitions for both public and private companies. Our approach to due diligence assignments is to assess the risks and opportunities of potential transactions through a process of enquiry, analysis and interpretation.

Our reviews have ranged from limited scope reviews looking at historical financial information only to full scale financial due diligences covering off historical and forecast reviews as well as identifying valuation issues to support the proposed purchase price and estimating synergistic cost savings and other benefits to be achieved from ultimately combining the acquirer and the target.
