Russell Garvey is a Director or BDO Corporate Tax (WA) Pty Ltd where he consults on State, Federal and International revenue law and business advisory matters to a wide range of industries, including hard rock mining, oil & gas, motor industry and the philanthropic/charitable sectors.

He has 27 years experience in taxation, audit and accounting which spans both the public and private sector. Prior to joining BDO, Russell served 13 years with the Australian Taxation Office in Perth and its National Office in Canberra as a Tax Counsel, Audit Case Manager and Executive Officer in the ATO Policy and Legislation Branch. Few practitioners in Australia boast the combination of private sector and high level ATO and Treasury knowledge that Russell brings to his work for the benefit of our clients.
