Susan Rix heads up the Family Businesses group in Brisbane and is an accredited family business adviser. Providing broad based consulting advice on family owned businesses Susan specialises in corporate governance, family councils, succession planning, taxation structures and restructuring. She has extensive experience encompassing taxation, general business and management services, provision of budgets, cash flow projections and providing advice to improve business efficiency and profits. She has also assisted a number of businesses in establishing accounting systems to provide information for use in decision making. Over the past 20 years Susan has held many directorship positions on Queensland Boards and has been actively involved in many large infrastructure projects. Susan acts on various committees and has been appointed by government in the past to aid in the selection process of senior executives across Government Owned Corporations (GOCs) and statutory authorities. Susan also has extensive experience in the non-for-profit sector. As an adviser, Susan places particular emphasis on delivering to clients the relevant management advice they require in a professional and personal manner.
