Experience

Shirley has over 20 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant and joined BDO in 1994, becoming a Partner in 2001. She has a broad base of compliance experience having been involved in the audit of superannuation funds and other companies in the financial services sector and in the provision of advice and interpretation of superannuation legislation. Shirley established a separate superannuation division at BDO in 1996 and has ensured that this division provides quality, accurate and timely services to all clients with self-managed superannuation funds.
