BDO Construction Survey 2021
14 April 2021
Australia’s construction industry undoubtedly brings immense benefit to the economy and the prosperity of many Australians, as an employer to one of the largest workforces. However, like most industries, the past year events have placed pressure on the sector, requiring organisations to adapt, with its wider long-term impacts still unknown. Therefore, it’s timely to take a pulse-check of the construction industry to see how the sector is responding, as well look at key areas that are likely to disrupt the sector into the future.
BDO’s Construction Survey 2021: a pulse-check of construction companies in Australia, aims to gather the perspectives of construction companies with the latest financial and non-financial data from across the sector and compile these findings into a report. It will also draw on data from last years’ survey (pre-COVID-19) to gain comparative insights for the sector.
