The BDO practice didn’t make it to where we are in Queensland overnight. Our history across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast has been marked by several key events that have shaped us into who we are today.
2014 – BDO
The KPMG Sunshine Coast office merged with BDO.
2012 – BDO
BDO and PKF Brisbane integrated to create an even stronger force in the Sunshine State.
2009 – BDO
Globally, the network rebranded to become known as BDO.
2002 – BDO Kendalls
Horwath (Brisbane) and BDO Kendalls officially merged to form the largest Queensland owned firm and the fourth largest Accountancy Practice.
1999 – BDO Kendalls
Kendalls KBM and BDO Nelson Parkhill's Queensland partnership merged to form BDO Kendalls. This established the firm as one of the largest professional service firms in Queensland.
1989 – Kendalls KBM
Kendalls and Kennedy Bowly & Manson merged to become KBM.
1967 – Kendalls
Noel Kendall commenced as a sole practitioner and began a very early association with the credit union movement.
1914 – Kennedy Bowly & Manson
After several years as a sole practitioner, Rex Don Kennedy commenced partnership with Charles Bowly and Eric George Manson.
