Superannuation Guarantee Risk Assessment Checklist
13 August 2020
The Superannuation Guarantee (SG) amnesty is a one-off opportunity to correct past unpaid SG amounts without incurring an administrative penalty, or paying the administration component of the charge.
The SG amnesty window will close at 11:59pm on Monday, 7 September 2020. Up until this time, organisations will be able to claim a tax deduction for the SG charge amounts they have paid to the Australian Taxation Office before 7 September 2020 (for income tax-paying entities).
We have prepared a checklist to help you consider your SG liability and whether the SG amnesty is applicable to your organisation.
Please complete the form to access our Superannuation Guarantee Risk Assessment Checklist (3.15MB pdf). The checklist will be sent via email so it's important to check the email you provide for any errors.
If you would like assistance, please complete the checklist and send it to your local BDO adviser.
