Committed to building positive relationships with our community
At BDO in Melbourne, we’re committed to building positive relationships with our community and to creating opportunities for our people to get involved.
Through the Community Care Program, BDO in Melbourne has established community partnerships with two great charities – Save the Children Australia, and Summer Foundation.
Save the Children is a charity that provides a range of early childhood and practical parenting programs for disadvantaged children and families across Australia.
Summer Foundation is a charity that assists young adults with a physical or brain injury to secure permanent care and independent living options through advocacy and support services.
In addition to our Community Care initiatives, we actively support local institutions and events:
Named in honour of Sir Robert Helpmann, the annual Helpmann Awards recognise distinguished artistic achievement and excellence in Australia's live performance industry, including musical theatre, contemporary music, comedy, opera, classical music, theatre, dance and physical theatre.
Trans-Tasman Business Circle
The Trans-Tasman Business Circle is the premier executive network in Australia and New Zealand, connecting business and government leaders. It recognises that face-to-face networking is fundamental to building trusted, long-term relationships with robust business networks. With strong connections in both the private and public sector, the circle provides high-level access to the major business and political leaders of Australia.
Property Council of Australia
The Property Council of Australia is the chief advocate for Australia’s $600 billion property industry. The Property Council supports the interests of the industry in the political arena, to ensure a better business environment for property participants, including major investors, property owners and developers, as well as the industry’s professional service and trade providers.
