BDO announced as winner of GIR’s Investigations Consultancy 2018
02 November 2018
Investigations specialists from law, consultancy and advisory firms from around the world gathered on the night of 25 October to celebrate numerous achievements from the world of forensic investigations. Global Investigations Review (“GIR”) is a news service providing global coverage of government enforcement and regulation and also ranks investigations specialists annually.
BDO’s achievements as recognised by GIR include our work for world football governing body Fifa, in helping the organisation address anti-corruption deficiencies in its bidding process for hosting World Cups, as well as our work advising Deutsche Bank following the financial institution’s residential mortgage-backed securities settlement in 2017.
The award win follows the global team being ranked once again in 2018’s GIR 100, the annual guide to the world’s leading cross-border investigations practices, which is based on extensive independent research.
BDO Australia’s Advisory Partner and National Leader, Forensic Services, Michael Cassidy, commented:
“We are very proud to have received this award and note the recognition of the strength of our global forensics team on the international stage. Congratulations and well done to our forensic investigations colleagues across the BDO global network”.
