BDO expands tax practice to include International Trade and Excise, with key partner hire

In response to growing demand from multi-national clients, BDO has established an International Trade and Excise team lead by new partner Bill Cole in Melbourne. Bill joins from PwC and draws on over 30 years’ experience in this area, since starting his career with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Services.

Experienced in government, industry and consulting, Bill has a demonstrated history of working in the international trade sphere. Accomplished in all aspect of trans-national commerce, Bill has particularly strong skills in the analysis of border regulation as it affects business models and cost outcomes. Bill also provides advice in other significant areas of trade such as import/export processing, procurement, business development and market entry.
