BDO Perth will now offer financial planning and private wealth services to its clients following a joint venture with local boutique firm Integro Private Wealth to form BDO Private Wealth (WA).
Peter Toll, BDO Perth Office Managing Partner, said together the two like-minded firms will provide a complete suite of financial and business advice to clients with sophisticated financial needs.
“The partnership is part of BDO Perth’s growth strategy, and while it was in the works before the pandemic hit, it’s very well timed as we experience increased demand from entrepreneurial individuals, family businesses and high-net-worth clients across Western Australia,” Peter said.
“What this means for our existing clients is that they’ll be able to access a complete package of financial and business advice from professional advisers working together to get the best outcome for them,” he said.
Established as a fee-based financial advisory practice in 2003, Integro has developed a significant client base of business owners, professionals, not-for-profit organisations and entrepreneurial families. Peter said Integro has a reputation for being a ‘trusted adviser’ to its diverse range of clients.
The alliance formalises a long-standing relationship between Integro and BDO Perth, with the two firms collaborating since 2013. Working in the same building, Integro Private Wealth will offer Wealth Management, Risk Planning, Succession & Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, and Philanthropy to existing and new BDO clients
The partnership is reciprocal with clients of BDO Private Wealth, through its affiliation with BDO Perth, benefiting from additional advice including Audit, Corporate Finance, Business Services, Tax and Remuneration and Reward.
“Formalising our partnership with BDO Perth will allow Integro Private Wealth to offer new services to our clients. Our team of advisers will look at clients’ financial and business needs from a holistic perspective, and our unique offering of tailored advice will create better outcomes at every stage of the journey,” said Justin Gilmour, Integro Private Wealth Managing Director.
Peter Toll added that the partnership cements BDO Perth’s position as a full-service advisory firm, with a well-connected local team, that is uniquely placed to attract and service WA’s entrepreneurial individuals and their businesses.
“At the heart of what we do is knowing what drives our clients decision making and helping them achieve their lifestyle goals rather than just adding to their bank balances,” he said.
