CFXD is a 589MW offshore wind farm project, located off the west coast of Changhua, Taiwan, developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). The wind farms will provide clean energy to more than 600,000 households in Taiwan and represents Taiwan’s largest offshore wind project financing transaction to date.
CFXD was awarded by IJGlobal the Project Finance and Export Finance Deal of the Year for Asia Pacific 2020.
Ian Hooper, Audit Partner and Head of BDO’s Financial Model Assurance Team in Sydney, says the award was recognition of the consistent quality and deep understanding of client needs and projects, particularly within the Asia Pacific region.
“BDO is proud to be recognised by IJGlobal. We have a long history providing advice and assurance for major infrastructure projects including rail, toll roads, water, energy, airports, health, education, and defence & university accommodation - some of which represent Asia Pacific’s largest and most complex Public Private Partnership bids and project finance transactions,” says Ian.
“To be formally recognised is testament to our approach, practical recommendations and global reach – which is typified by this market”.
