Catherine is a sustainability professional with decades of professional services experience in economics, research, and finance. Catherine was previously responsible for launching BDO’s global sustainability program that supported the development and management of infrastructure put in place for BDO’s global sustainability practice, in addition to supporting sustainability adoption and integration across 167 BDO firms.
Catherine supports BDO clients activate and improve on their sustainability program and strategy, advises on ESG technology and tools, industry best practices and learning and development. In addition, she supports BDO’s global sustainability leadership on several sustainability initiatives and programmes.
Catherine has worked for many leading global brands such as The Economist, IDC, Mercer, and National Australia Bank across Australia, Singapore, Thailand, and Europe. In addition, she has held government positions with Australia’s Department Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) in Copenhagen and Sweden, Australian AID agency (AUSAID) in Thailand on secondment to Thailand’s Ministry of Finance, Tax Policy & Planning Department and in Canberra at Parliament House.
Catherine has a degree in Applied Economics and a Masters in Asian Societies.
