Evelyn is a fellow of CA ANZ with extensive experience in consulting, training and education in accounting, audit, strategy, risk and governance both locally and overseas. Evelyn started her career at a global accounting firm where she provided audit services to clients and developed and delivered internal training courses. She then pursued a career in academia and professional consultancy. She joined BDO as an Associate Director in 2011, where she is responsible for the design of training and professional development programs delivered internally and to a range of commercial and public practice clients. She is a national audit technical consultant at BDO and assists in strategic and risk consulting engagements. Evelyn regularly presents at conferences hosted by professional bodies including the CAANZ, CPA Australia and the IPA.

Evelyn has expertise and experience in helping organisations understand the link between strategy and the finance function, and in developing governance effectiveness.

Evelyn is a board member, chair of the finance committee and chair of the risk committee at a leading organisation providing support and care for people with profound disabilities. She is also a WA regional councillor for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In addition, Evelyn is co-author on a number of leading accounting texts, and is a part time senior lecturer in the business school at the University of Notre Dame.
