BDO M&A, led by Partner, Andrew McFarlane, acted as lead adviser to the shareholders of Auto IT on the sale of the business to Perseus Group.

Auto-IT is one of the longest-established and leading Dealer Management System (DMS) providers in the APAC market, working closely with all major OEMs and allied industry partners.

Developed over 40 years, AIT has built a trusted and market leading suite of DMS solutions servicing a number of key industries – automotive, agriculture, trucking, and construction.

Perseus Group is a provider of software solutions to a number of vertical markets. The acquisition further expands the Perseus footprint in dealership software markets, having already established a strong presence in North America and the United Kingdom.
