Berwick Motor Group (BMG), a network of six automotive dealerships in South-Eastern Victoria, has been acquired by Autoleague, one of Australia’s largest privately owned automotive groups with 40+ franchises in Western Australia and Victoria.

Founded in 1997, BMG operates dealerships in Berwick and Hallam, providing motorists with new and used vehicles, parts, servicing, and aftermarket care as well as finance and insurance. BMG’s reputation and holistic service offering has helped it create long-standing partnerships with Kia, Nissan, Jeep, GWM, Haval and SsangYong.

BDO brought a cross-disciplinary approach to the transaction led by Tony Schiavello, Partner and National Leader of M&A, and Sam Venn, Partner Automotive, supported by Lachlan Cantwell and Richard Zhou who managed the successful transaction on behalf of BMG’s shareholders.
