Kurt Stevens

Kurt is an Associate Director and works across both Audit & Assurance and Advisory teams. He is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in advisory, business valuations, audit and forensic accounting services, including the preparation and critiquing of loss of profit claims, commercial damages, personal injury matters, financial modelling, management accounting, solicitors trust account examinations and the preparation of statutory financial reports.

His experience includes the analysis of detailed and complicated matters and the review of other expert accounting reports to provide a critique of their findings. Kurt also has experience in the preparation of experts’ reports, and the preparation of those reports in a manner that is easily understood.

Kurt comes from an audit background and also worked as a business analyst for a large private company, which included exposure to high-end business operations. During this time he developed advanced analytical skills as well as the ability to complete complex financial modelling.

Kurt joined BDO in 2007, progressing to Associate Director.
