BDO in Brisbane has a strong commitment to supporting the local community, celebrating the arts and engaging across industry to help drive growth and innovation.
Our firm supports a number of charitable and not-for-profit organisations in the community through our internal BGenerous program. BGenerous is proudly led by our people, who generously give back by participating in various activities including workplace giving, fundraisers, volunteering and donation drives. We currently support the following organisations:
The AEIOU Foundation provides high-quality early intervention for pre-school aged children with an autism diagnosis.
Black Dog Institute aims to reduce the incidence of mental illness and the stigma around it, to actively reduce suicide rates and empower everyone to live the most mentally healthy lives possible.
Micah Projects believes every child and adult has the right to a home, an income, healthcare, education, safety, dignity and connection with their community of choice. Micah Projects provide a range of support and advocacy services to families and individuals according to their needs and capacity.
QUT Learning Potential Fund – provides a source of income through scholarships and bursaries for students in need. Each year, BDO provides a scholarship to two highly motivated but financially disadvantaged students undertaking a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) or Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws (Honours).
BDO in Brisbane also carries out pro bono engagements throughout the year and we have a number of Partners and staff who provide their time and expertise through not-for–profit Board or Advisory roles.
Financial Basics Foundation - As a proud sponsor of the Financial Basics Foundation in Queensland, we are committed to supporting the delivery of financial literacy programs in schools and for the future generations. With our heritage in helping businesses grow, we believe the most important foundation for success is education.

Camerata - Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, has established itself as a chamber orchestra of national significance with an outstanding track record of artistic achievement. A Company-in-Residence at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), Camerata’s vision is to empower artists, inspire audiences, and enrich communities through music.
Museum of Brisbane collaborates with artists, reflects on Brisbane’s contemporary identity and inspires curiosity and creativity through exhibitions, workshops, guided tours and MoB Kids activities.
Queensland Theatre is Australia’s third largest theatre company, creating collective experiences that change lives. Their annual season presents a diverse range of theatre from classics to contemporary international and Australian work.
