Steven is a Corporate Finance Partner with BDO in Brisbane.  Steven has extensive corporate finance and accounting experience, having dealt with both domestic and international clients, in the provision of financial advice to public companies, private companies and the government sector.  Steven’s experience covers a wide range of industries, company sizes and transaction types.

Steven has extensive experience in domestic and international transactions, from smaller projects of $5 million, to larger transactions in excess of $1 billion.  His corporate advisory services span the valuation of businesses, intellectual property, projects and options; financial modelling; due diligence; re-structuring; capital raising; independent expert reports; and preparation of prospectus documents, business cases and information memorandum documents.  Steven has also undertaken forensic work for a range of valuation and loss matters, and provides litigation support, mediation and arbitration on court matters.  He is a sought after speaker, having presented on specialist corporate finance related topics, such as capital raising, valuations, structuring and director’s duties, on behalf of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The Institute of Charted Accountants.

Steven has been with BDO since 1997, first as an Accountant and in 2004, he was appointed as a Partner of Corporate Finance.
