Peet Limited's $1 billion proposed acquisition by Ingenia Communities
Peet Limited (ASX: PPC) has entered into a Scheme Implementation Deed with Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA), under which Ingenia will acquire 100 per cent of Peet's shares by way of a scheme of arrangement.
Peet is a leading Australian residential property developer with a national portfolio of master-planned communities, medium-density projects and apartment developments. Its development pipeline comprises of more than 26,000 lots across 37 projects, with an estimated end value of approximately $11.5 billion.
Peet has established a significant land bank across major Australian growth corridors, creating a pipeline of future residential development opportunities.
Ingenia Communities is a leading owner, operator and developer of land lease communities and tourism assets, with a property portfolio exceeding $3 billion. The proposed transaction supports Ingenia's growth strategy by providing access to Peet's development pipeline and land holdings.
Peet engaged BDO to undertake reverse financial due diligence and review the pro forma financial model in connection with the proposed transaction.
