Qoria announces merger with US-based Aura
Australian company Qoria Limited (Qoria) has announced a proposed merger with US-based cyber monitoring company Aura, subject to the satisfaction of set conditions, along with the listing of Aura on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
Qoria is a global provider of digital safety and student wellbeing solutions, based out of Western Australia. Offering an integrated suite of tools, Qoria seeks to support and promote collaboration between schools and parents.
Aura is one of the fastest growing online safety platforms for individuals and families. Providing services such as threat detection, scam alerts and identity protection, the platform helps parents safeguard their children from online risks including predators, cyberbullying and mental health challenges.
The proposed transaction supports Qoria and Aura’s global growth strategies and create cross-selling opportunities across their combined customer bases.
Qoria engaged BDO to complete financial and tax due diligence. The engagement was led by Byron Watson, Deal Advisory Partner with BDO in Australia, and Ron Reigstad, Tax Partner at BDO USA.
