BDO has assisted the founders of Touchstream with their sale to Banyan Software.

Founded in 2013, Touchstream is a provider of proactive monitoring solutions for over-the-top live streaming that helps broadcasters, streaming platforms, and telecommunications providers deliver reliable, high-quality live streaming.

The company monitors more than 25,000 live streams at any given time and plays a key role in delivering high-stakes live coverage, including America’s biggest annual sporting event.

Touchstream’s solutions make it easy for operations teams to improve efficiency and manage complex, always-on streaming environments where reliability and viewer experience are paramount.

CDN Monitoring, the company’s core product, supports a faster incident response and smoother stream delivery.

Other service offerings include VirtualNOC, a tool for centralised visibility, dVQA for detecting visual and audio problems, and eVQA for monitoring stream quality across the entire workflow.
