BDO’s Xero masterclass is aimed at helping current and future Xero users navigate Xero Accounting Software.

This virtual masterclass is held across two half-days and focuses on how to maximise the full potential of Xero’s capabilities, streamlining your accounting processes and helping your business to stand out from the crowd.

You will receive

  • Hands-on support during the workshops to help you confidently use Xero features
  • A Xero guidebook to support your learning
  • Small, expert-led breakout sessions for peer discussion, case studies and group problem solving.

Who is this course for and what will it cover?

This course is suitable for Xero users with tailored content relevant to your capabilities. You will have access to join day one and/or day two, with all course materials and workbooks for the days you attend.

Day one: Foundations, automation and cash discipline

Day one focuses on getting the basics right and reducing manual effort. Day one will cover:

  • Navigating Xero, including dashboard and core set up
  • Chart of accounts and tracking categories
  • Banking, including feeds, transactions and rules
  • Debtors & creditors, including invoicing and automations
  • Running month-end – bank reconciliations, manual journals and reporting
  • Live Q&A and case study sessions.

Day two: Reporting, insights and advanced use

Day two focuses on meaningful reporting and more advanced capability. Day two will cover:

  • Management and custom reporting
  • Leveraging analytics in Xero
  • Integrations 101 – Fathom, Dext and Employment Hero
  • Live Q&A and case study sessions.

How much does the workshop cost?

  • One day: $412.50
  • Two days: $825.

Ticket pricing is per person and includes GST.

This includes:

    • Virtual attendance via Microsoft Teams of day one or day two, or both sessions
    • All course materials and workbooks for the days you attend.
