DGR Global Limited continue to see a rise in market capitalisation

The business issue
DGR Global Limited creates and develops grassroots resource exploration companies. Projects are conceived directly through the skills and experience of DGR Global's accomplished team of exploration geoscientists, not by the costly purchase of properties.
As a long term auditors and advisors, the BDO team, led by Audit Partner Richard Swaby and Corporate Finance Partner, Scott Birkett, were able to assist with independent reporting to shareholders on proposed takeover and funding transactions.
BDO were investigating accountants for the IPO’s of DGR Global, including; Orbis Gold, Armour Energy, Dark Horse Resources, IronRidge Resources and Aus Tin Mining. All were successful at the first time of asking.
Our natural resources specialists worked collaboratively to ensure that the accounting treatment for each listing has been appropriate, in both the listed company and in the books of DGR Global, as it accounts for its investments throughout the lifecycle. For example, Armour Energy’s ability to respond to shareholders quickly with an independent view on proposed transactions has allowed shareholders to make informed choices.
In addition to the statutory audit needs of the Group, BDO has guided DGR Global through its own IPO and the subsequent IPO of five former subsidiaries, affectionately known as “children”, since incorporation.
Having BDO’s experienced natural resources team on hand, with a global reach, DGR Global Limited has seen the market capitalisation of the wider group rise from $54m in June 2007 to over $1.1bn in June 2018.
“BDO have been our trusted auditors and advisers since incorporation. Their delivery on assignments to date consistently demonstrates the strong commercial acumen of their personnel. BDO’s global reach has been invaluable as the Group expands into Central America and across Africa.”
