BDO receives WGEA Employer Committed to Gender Equality citation

BDO is proud to announce that the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has recognised us as an Employer Committed to Gender Equality.

This three-year citation acknowledges our strong commitment to actively addressing the drivers of gender inequality in our workplace and meeting the criteria set by WGEA.

"We thank the WGEA for this recognition, which is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement across leadership, accountability and workplace gender equality, and our progress towards achieving the outcomes we aspire to," said BDO Chief Executive Partner, David Garvey.

"I am personally committed to making sure we deliver on the goals in our Gender Equality Strategy, and to strengthening the diverse and inclusive culture that makes BDO a great place to work."

WGEA CEO Mary Wooldridge said: “Holding the Workplace Gender Equality Citation provides national recognition that BDO is deeply committed to positive action to achieve gender equality in their workplace.

“Citation holders demonstrate strong gender-equal outcomes at the moments that matter most to women and men at work. They go beyond policy and programs, embedding gender equality into the everyday employee experience."
