BDO welcomes new Business Services Partner in Sydney

BDO is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Fox as partner to head up its CFO Advisory offering, based out of the firm’s Sydney office.

Nick will commence in his new role on 15 August, having worked in his own consultancy practice as well as Deloitte prior to joining BDO.

He will focus on providing CFO Advisory services to clients, advising CFOs and wider finance teams to help them make informed decisions to support their organisation’s needs.

“We are pleased to welcome Nick to BDO, particularly at a time where client demand for reliable financial information and efficient decision making is becoming paramount,” said Grant Saxon, BDO Sydney office managing partner.

“Nick’s experience in running his own practice helping businesses with their finance function, as well as his background in business restructuring, will be an invaluable resource to our clients as they navigate challenges that lie ahead.”

“The development of BDO’s CFO Advisory team is in response to the increasing need for maintaining deep relationships with clients, especially given the rapidly evolving technological and economic environment.”

Andres Reith, BDO Sydney’s head of Business Services, said Nick’s appointment would strengthen the firm’s ability to meet clients’ needs at key junctures in their business life cycle.

“Nick will be ideally placed to parachute into a company at critical times such as when a CFO needs a second opinion, during a resourcing crisis, or for an annual financial health check,” said Mr Reith.

“Nick’s bespoke approach to clients’ business needs will cut through the noise and allow them to make informed decisions at a time where trusted advice is crucial.”
