Maree is a Director with BDO in Brisbane. With more than 20 years’ experience, her approach is based on longstanding and close working relationships with clients.

Since being employed in the chartered accounting profession in 1990, Maree has gained experience in managed fund registry, accounting and executive administration services along with assisting government owned organisations and other clients in a wide range of industries.

As well as providing specialist advice, Maree manages managed funds’ unit registries on a daily basis, assists with the preparation of special purpose or general purpose financial statements (that are Australian Equivalents to International Financial Reporting Standards (AIFRS) compliant) and assists with other general compliance requirements including income tax returns and GST issues. She also has experience with foreign owned companies and branches operating in Australia, in particular the income tax and corporate secretarial requirements.

    • Managing the closure of six investment funds and liaising with various stakeholders to effect the closures
    • Managing the testing and live movement of four investment funds from historical unit pricing to forward unit pricing. Preparation of all documentation to support the testing and process documentation of the change in pricing policy
    • Managing and testing of major upgrades to software systems before implementation. Liaising with the software provider to effect the upgrades and ongoing support and maintenance
  • Preparation of monthly budgeting and cash flow template for a business in the building and construction industry
  • Assisting with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission reporting requirements for a client in the building and construction industry
