Rob is an Executive Director of Project & Infrastructure Advisory at BDO’s Melbourne office.
Rob has over 15 years of experience successfully establishing, leading, improving, and delivering high-profile major capital, infrastructure and asset management projects and programs in Australia and internationally.
Rob is a strategic thinker with many leadership, management, communication, and technical skills. He passionately ensures that projects and programs uphold good discipline and manage risk and stakeholder expectations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Before joining BDO, Rob was the inaugural CEO of the Victorian Health Building Authority, the agency responsible for delivering an ambitious $10 billion+ program of health infrastructure development across Victoria. He has worked across mining, defence, and recovery programs, including the Christchurch Earthquake recovery program.
Rob is skilled in developing complex asset strategies and the project and program delivery of high-value, high-risk projects and programs to support the implementation of those strategies. He has experience across various stages, including infrastructure planning, capital business case development, procurement, commercial negotiation, and navigating the leadership and stakeholder challenges of delivering projects within a complex asset base.
Rob has also led significant operational and sustaining capital programs for major public and private clients across Australia and internationally.
