Scott McKeiver is a Director in BDO’s Project & Infrastructure Advisory team in Brisbane. He is an experienced real estate adviser with more than 20 years’ experience in the property industry. A Certified Practising Valuer since 2006, Scott has delivered valuation and real estate advisory services across a broad range of asset classes, market cycles and emerging industry trends. This breadth of experience enables him to deliver informed, practical advice aligned with each client’s property objectives.

Scott provides valuation, financial and commercial real estate advice across all asset classes specialising in development projects. His experience includes complex property valuations, development feasibility modelling, highest and best use analysis, strategic acquisitions and disposals, portfolio reviews and transaction advisory.

Working with government, private sector and institutional clients, Scott has experience across residential developments including major urban development projects, commercial, retail and industrial properties, mixed-use precincts as well as social and community infrastructure.
Scott brings a practical and commercially focused approach, helping clients understand redevelopment options, property values and the financial implications of key decisions.

Experience

• Major residential and mixed-use developments: Valuation and feasibility advice across the full range of residential development projects from master planned residential communities, multi-stage residential estates, mixed-use precincts and infill development sites.
• Government property and property strategy: Strategic acquisition, disposal and redevelopment advice including negotiating development agreements with third parties. The provision of real estate advice including property portfolio reviews, options assessments, market analysis, valuation advisory and negotiation support provided to all levels of government.
• Commercial and community infrastructure: Feasibility modelling and options analysis for proposed commercial headquarters including office buildings, industrial properties, health and education facilities, creative precincts and other community infrastructure developments.
• Transaction and commercial advisory: Advice supporting property acquisitions and disposals, including management of specialist advisers or consultants as well as the appointed selling agents. Transaction support including preparation of marketing documentation, data room management and transaction advisory services through to settlement.
• Specialist assurance: Property valuation advice including independent valuation reviews to support investment decisions or assurance engagements across listed and unlisted property portfolios, real estate investment trusts, companies and organisations holding real property assets.
