BDO advises Engage Squared on investment from Alceon Private Equity
Engage Squared, one of Australia’s largest independent Microsoft Partners, has entered into a strategic partnership with Alceon Private Equity.
Founded in 2014, Engage Squared employs more than 170 people across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The business specialises in Microsoft’s cloud and collaboration platforms, supporting enterprise and government clients.
The investment represents the inaugural investment by the newly launched Alceon Private Equity Access Fund and provides Engage Squared with additional capital and operational support to expand its footprint, invest further in AI and agentic capabilities, and pursue selective acquisitions.
The partnership positions Engage Squared to broaden its impact, help more organisations realise value from AI, and continue building its market-leading Microsoft practice.
Engage Squared’s shareholders engaged BDO’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Tax teams, led by Tony Schiavello, Lachlan Cantwell and Matt O’Bryne, to provide sell-side M&A lead advisory and deal structuring support throughout the transaction.
