BDO supports Bhagwan Marine’s (ASX: BWN) acquisition of Riverside Marine

Bhagwan Marine, a leading Australian marine services company, engaged BDO's Value Creation team to support the integration of Riverside Marine following its acquisition.

Bhagwan Marine provides a diverse range of marine solutions across ports, nearshore and offshore locations, servicing the oil and gas, renewables, civil construction and defence sectors.

Riverside Marine is a well-established marine operator, with a fleet that includes tugs, dredges, car ferries and barges.

The acquisition of 100 per cent of Riverside Marine Holdings Pty Ltd, expands Bhagwan Marine’s operational footprint and strengthening its national capability.

The BDO team, led by Partner, Martin Linhart and Director, Raoul Cernaz played a key role in planning and delivering Day 1 readiness activities, aligning functional leaders around a shared integration vision and helping secure early integration benefits while protecting key value drivers.

Our work included:

• Developing the integration strategy and detailed integration plan
• Defining the Target State Operating Model
• Identifying synergy opportunities to support functional integration
• Establishing a roadmap for long-term value creation and value realisation.

The integration program successfully achieved its Day 100 milestone and continues to focus on delivering long-term integration outcomes.
