Nomura Research Institute, Ltd (NRI) completed the acquisition of Planit Test Management Solutions Pty Ltd (Planit) on 14 May 2021. NRI completed the acquisition through its Australian subsidiary Nomura Research Institute Australia, Pty Ltd. The acquisition of Planit builds on NRI’s previous investments in Australia including ASG Group Limited and Australian Investment Exchange Limited.
Planit is headquartered in Sydney and specializes in providing software testing, quality engineering and automated testing solutions, as well as related consultancy services.
BDO was engaged by Nomura Research Institute Australia to perform the financial and tax due diligence, and also to assist with the SPA completion mechanism drafting.
