The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Igneo Infrastructure Partners and its newly launched distributed energy platform, Vertis Energy.

Igneo Infrastructure Partners is a global infrastructure investment manager specialising in direct infrastructure investments.

Green Squares Energy is an Australian renewable energy infrastructure business operating across behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter energy markets.

Green Squares Energy finances, develops, owns and operates commercial solar, battery and solar farm assets across Australia. Its portfolio includes 46MW of operating solar projects across 240 sites in Australia, including 34MW of behind-the-meter solar and 12MW of small utility-scale front-of-meter solar farms with co-located battery developments.
