Telwater Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s oldest boat manufacturers and producer of iconic brands such as Quintrex and Stacer, will be acquired by Yamaha Motor Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd (Tokyo: 7272).
The acquisition from BRP Inc. subsidiaries is aimed at strengthening Yamaha Motor's marine business in Australia. It will expand Yamaha’s sales network and its outboard motor operations.
