Fahim leads BDO’s Data and AI service offering in Brisbane and is a Professor of Practice, Engagement & AI at UNSW Business School. He has over 16 years of experience across the areas of operational and commercial analysis, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

He is a sought-after thought leader on data analytics and AI in Australia and has spoken at numerous high-impact national and global events. 

Fahim's breadth of experience, coupled with his commercial acumen, gives him a holistic understanding of the diverse issues various organisations face.

He specialises in identifying and analysing key drivers of an organisation and developing insights that create value and ultimately increase profits. He is passionate about helping managers and executives make informed decisions on complex issues quickly and with confidence.

In his role at UNSW, Fahim is responsible for developing and implementing UNSW Business School’s AI Education strategy. This strategy involves increasing the knowledge and adoption of AI across more than 12 undergraduate and post graduate programs (degrees) and over 250 staff to update the way UNSW delivers business education and assists its students to maximise the potential of AI.

Fahim was recognised by the Australian Financial Review as a BOSS Young Executive of the Year for 2021.

  • Fahim is a Professor of Practice in Engagement and AI at the UNSW Business School, with a particular focus on:
    • Developing and implementing AI education strategy. This strategy involves increasing the knowledge and adoption of AI across more than 12 undergraduate and post graduate programs (degrees) and over 250 staff to update the way UNSW delivers business education and assists its students to maximise the potential of AI
    • Integrating data analytics, AI and insights into all relevant business courses and programs
    • Advising on the research being undertaken by researchers in relation to data analytics, AI and insights within an accounting, finance and business context
    • Leading industry engagement and thought leadership on data analytics, AI and insights within an accounting, finance and business context.
  • Fahim is a founding member of the BDO Centre for Education - The Centre brings together experts from across the education landscape to drive innovation, inform policy, and shape public discourse with an aim of advancing Australia's education goals for the future.
