BDO appoints new CIO and CCO

BDO in Australia has announced two key leadership appointments to join the firm’s c-suite this month: Chief Information Officer and Chief Client Officer.

Tiffany Wong joins as Chief Information Officer (CIO), bringing extensive experience from senior roles at the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action and Aurecon, and will lead BDO’s national technology strategy.

With the firm’s current Chief Marketing Officer, Janet Glasper, retiring at the end of December 2025, BDO has named Nicole Aman as Chief Client Officer (CCO) to succeed her. Nicole joins following senior executive roles at PwC Australia and will oversee BDO’s Clients & Markets function.

Both appointments reflect BDO’s commitment to growth, innovation, and client service excellence according to BDO in Australia's incoming chief executive, David Garvey.

“We are building a leadership team that is both equipped for today and ready to shape the future of our firm,” Mr Garvey said.

“Tiffany’s leadership and experience will be instrumental as we continue to advance our digital strategy and infrastructure to support our firm’s continued growth. A contemporary and digitally enabled workforce will improve service delivery and enhance client outcomes,” said Mr Garvey.

On Nicole’s appointment, Garvey added, “Nicole brings a sharp client-centric focus, backed by experience in marketing, leadership coaching and sales, which combined will help us achieve our strategic goals and continue delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and our people.”

Mr Garvey takes up the position of chief executive partner at BDO in Australia from 1 December, taking over from long-standing executive Tony Schiffmann. BDO Global recently announced that Mr Schiffmann will take up the role of Global Chair from this month.
