Jacqui is a Director within BDO’s Business Services team in Brisbane and leads the Outsourcing and Cloud Advisory team. As a Chartered Accountant, she specialises in management accounting, outsourced finance functions, and cloud advisory, including process improvement and transformation. She also supports project management of payroll recalculation projects.

Jacqui brings over 17 years of experience at BDO, working across a broad range of clients and industries. She brings together foundations in tax compliance and advisory with a passion for cloud accounting to help small and medium businesses streamline their finance processes and improve the accuracy, timeliness and usefulness of information for decision making.

  • Supports project management of payroll recalculation projects, including
    • Large data set validations and analysis
    • Generation and review of business subject matter logic for model input to reflect recalculation/data needs
    • Analysis of variance report results.

  • Outsourced accounting solutions for medium-sized local businesses - supporting clients with their bank reconciliations, creditor process, end-of-month accounting, management reporting and supporting the general finance function and compliance.
  • Outsourced accounting solutions for inbound multinational - establishing a cloud accounting ecosystem and finance operations in Australia, aligning local compliance with global reporting requirements and completing end-of-month accounts for consolidation with the wider group.
  • Not-for-profit and professional services firm - conducting a finance function review to consider pain points and business needs. Supporting software selection and implementation, development of process maps and delivering tailored training to improve process efficiency. Supporting the implementation of Xero, Dext Prepare, Approval Max, Fathom and Employment Hero with POS, e-commerce and other integrations.
