BDO has been announced as the number one financial adviser globally by number of deals in the Factset league tables 2025. We have placed second in the MergerMarket global financial due diligence provider rankings and continue as Pitchbook’s most active adviser and accountant globally for 2024 in private equity deals.
Despite the market uncertainty in 2025, which led to a challenging year in merger and acquisitions (M&A), BDO’s Deal Advisory teams across our global footprint successfully completed 1,835 deals during 2025, a five per cent increase in number of transactions year-on-year.
BDO works closely with private equity and across borders. During 2025, 40 per cent of our transactions involved private equity and 25 per cent of our transactions were cross border.
